Have you ever decided to move something or put it in a new spot in your home?
Then, 5 minutes later, you walk past it and stub your toe on it. And for several days, you keep bumping your toe on it, until you finally learn to go around it.
It seems that it takes a while, but little by little you learn. And then one day, you finally get the hint and stop hurting yourself.
I have this bad habit of not learning something until I have to. It has caused me problems more than once. It takes time to learn something new. It is hard to change.
But your spiritual life is going to be full of change because God says that He does a new thing. And if God is going to do something new in your life, you’d better be ready for it.
Proverbs 19:2 says,
It is not good for a person to lack knowledge, because they will rush off and completely miss the mark. [GBMV]
So I want to ask you, what have you learned today?
What are you learning that is new every day?
It does not matter how small it is. If you are learning and growing, you are moving forward. It could be something as small as stubbing your toe.
You get a choice in this. So many people think that God is just going to make you into who He wants you to be.
But you can choose to learn, or you can let circumstances push you around.
Try moving a few things around in your life. Learn something new every day, and you will succeed in all that you do.
Blessings
