God is simple. He does not make things complicated.
I like to make things complicated. In my mind I overthink things and try to figure it out. I try and understand what the grand plan is that God has for me or those around me.
I might even try make a big plan of how I am going to fix this problem that I have, and help God out a little.
But here is the simple truth, God wants to bless you. And He is going to do that through even the simple things.
It could be that you meet someone who is just a blessing to you. It could be that you help someone else, and by helping them, you are also blessed.
I have had this experience where I was just going about my day, and I felt His presence. It was nothing complicated, but I just knew that He was in control.
Sometimes you may hear His voice speak in your spirit, or as you are reading the word, and that testemony will give you assurance.
The scripture says,
Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD [Yahweh] [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD [Yahweh] [is] sure, making wise the simple. [GBMV]
I see two things in this verse.
1. The law of the Lord
This is His Word, given to use in the Scripture. By reading this your soul or mind is renewed.
2. His voice speaking in your spirit
He speaks in your spirit and confirms His Word. This is the testimony, and it is simple, not complicated. He can speak even through your experiences or other people.
If you need assurance or wisdom, all you need is to hear His voice. Your peace and assurance come from Him. All the wisdom you need comes from Him.
So, no matter what you are facing right now, He has a simple solution for you. He is going to show you how to get through it.
It may be hard to see a way forward. But Let Him speak to you today, through the simple things.
