Have you ever lived in a dry area where a field of grass can catch fire?
It can be a scary thing to see this massive raging fire just across the road from you. But it is actually good because it gets rids of all the dry grass.
This is the picture that I saw today. It is like there is smoke all around and you cannot see anything. It is hot and hard to breath.
Does it feel that way in your life right now?
The Lord says,
You do not need to fear when you see the smoke or the fire raging near you. My hand of protection is on you, and my eye is watching out for you.
And indeed I have put a wall of protection around you that it cannot come close to you. Even if it feels like it is close, it will not harm you, while you stay inside those walls.
Therefore, stay in the walls with me, and do not try to put out the fire yourself.
And when the fire has passed, you will see a new clear landscape. You be able to see a long distance, and see clearly where I have put you now.
My protection is on you, and I have not changed my mind about you. I will still do all that I have promised, says the Lord.
Amen
