The Lord Says,
I still fulfill my promises. I have not forgotten anything that I told you or that was promised. I am a God who saves, and I am the one who heals what was broken.
Right now, you see a vast desert in front of you. And you have to work the ground and plow through solid rock. And the work has tired you out without result.
But look back, says the Lord, and see the path that you have laid. Look back and see how far you have come. And as you look, you will see that the path you dug has begun to fill with water.
The dry ground has started to come to life. New plants are beginning to spring up. And all that effort you have made and the seeds you have sown, will start to grow now.
So, do not give up hope, says the Lord. Stop for a moment and take stock of how far you have come, and see that I have been with you all along. Rest a little while with me and refresh yourself.
Then keep on sowing and keep pushing ahead, knowing that I am with you all the way. The promise lies ahead, and you are leaving a trail of blessing for others. A path that I can use to bless many, says the Lord.
I am leading you as you go forward, so do not stop, but trust in me now. I will take you through, and I will reward you for all that you have done, says the Lord.
