Matthew 6:31 Therefore do not worry, saying, What will we eat? or, What will we drink? or, With what will we wear?
32 (because the peoples of the world crave after all these things:) but your heavenly Father knows that you are in need of all these things.
33 So seek after the Kingdom of God first, and his righteousness; and all these things will also be given to you.
34 Therefore do not be concerned about tomorrow: for tomorrow will take care of its own things. Each day has enough problems of its own. [GBMV]
The Lord says, ” Do not concern yourself for the future, because the future is in my hands and not in yours. You need only be concerned with today, says the Lord, for sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Therefore, as you consider your life, as you consider your ministry and the activities you carry out, ask me daily what you should do, and leave the results and the future in my hands, says the Lord, for I control the future, not you.
The plan that I have for you in the future is not for your life to come to an abrupt end and for you to accomplish nothing, for I’ve spent many years preparing you for the tasks that you will yet carry out, says the Lord, and therefore I will not allow you to be removed from the scene until you have accomplished those goals. Therefore, do not be concerned about the future, do not be concerned about your life and what the future will hold, but look only to me daily, says the Lord, and find out what you should do for this day, for whatever you do this day will automatically affect your future. The more you do in this day, the more resources you make available to me to mold your future and to make it a better future for you, says the Lord. Therefore, daily get into my word and get into the spirit and hear my voice and hear me speaking to you and telling you what you should do for this day and for this day alone.
Do not concern yourself with the past, for you cannot change the past; it is gone, and do not be concerned for the future, because the future is not yet in your hands for you to do anything about it, says the Lord. Therefore, narrow your vision now to this day only and ask yourself and ask me what you must do this day in your life to make this a productive day and to make this a day in your life that will go down in remembrance. As you consider each day as being the beginning of days for you, whatever you do today will be the beginning of something good for the future, says the Lord.
Therefore, you do not need to make the full effort that is needed for you to fulfill your future. You need only to make the effort to do what is needed for you to do in the day that lies ahead of you, for sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Do not be concerned about tomorrow, for tomorrow has not yet arrived.
Therefore, take this day and make the most of it, says the Lord. Consider the number of hours you have available to you during this day and use those hours wisely to get the most out of them and to do the best with them. If you were to consider the possibility that today was to be your last day on earth, what would you spend your last hours doing, and how productive would you be for this one last section of your life? And if you were to know that what you do today is going to determine a bright future for you, what amount of effort will you make today in order to guarantee your future, says the Lord?
