I don’t know about you, but I often feel like I am failing. I could have a great day, and get a lot of work done, but I still feel unsatisfied. I just get this feeling I am doing something wrong.
Maybe God wants me to do something more, but I am not doing it. Maybe I am not doing what I was supposed to do.
Does it feel like you are going forward and yet not getting anywhere? Like, you are just not good enough for the Lord?
The Lord says to you,
“You have not failed me, my child. You have not done the wrong thing or failed in my eyes. For what you think you need to do is not what I expect from you.
It is not what you do that makes you worthy, but it is my grace that will make you worthy. So you do not have to do anything but rest in me.
Trust in me, and that I am in control of your life. Then I will be able to take you in my arms and cover you with my shield of protection.
Do not listen to the lies of the enemy that try to make you feel a failure. For you may see yourself as small, but I see you as a giant. In me, you are reigning and ruling.
So, stand up tall with boldness, and know that I am holding you in my hands. And I will not let you go, for you are special to me, says the Lord.”
